Dental Check-Ups and X-rays in Harris, NY

DENTAL CHECK UP AND EXAM IN SULLIVAN COUNTY, CATSKILL MOUNTAINS UPSTATE NEW YORK

It is recommended by the American Dental Association to have a checkup every 6 months or twice a year to keep up on oral health and possible dental problems that may arise.  During a check up the oral cavity is screened for oral cancer, gum disease and cavities in the teeth.  From this information, the treating dentist can make recommendations for future treatments needed or provide the patient with a complete treatment plan.

In conjunction with radiographic imaging in both 2D and 3D the dental team will asses the need for necessary images and always work with the principle for lowest radiation possible for the patient to achieve the desired images.  All imaging can be done in office with digital intra-oral sensors, a Panoramic x-ray unit and a CT Scanner.
